Why does the first device in a FireWire 800 daisy chain disappear?

If you have a Macpower Enclosure using the Oxford 922 chipset, it's possible that whith more than 3 devices in a daisy chain, the first unit will disappear.

To solve this issue, update your firmware to v1.06 or above.
