Why does the SMART AP fail to detect my device?
The SMART AP is only able to detect one drive at the time. If you have more than one, it will only recognize the one that has been connected first.
The SMART AP can only recognize the drive once a partition has been created and the drive has been formatted. If you have not yet done so, please format the drive first.
Also, the SMART AP only supports devices that were originally shipped with SMART AP. If you have downloaded the SMART AP later, it will not work with these devices.
