Which format should I use on Mac OS X?

For Mac OS X, use the Disk Utility to format the hard drive. Choose "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" and DO NOT install the driver for Mac OS 9. After erasing the drive, create the four prerequisite folders as described in the manual.
